Our 1st Nowata location was opened in 1975 and the newest building was completed 2017 and the doors opened for a new modern cremation and funeral experience for the 21st century.
Modern and contemporary yet comfortable and right sized we can accommodate the perfect size of gatherings for funerals and life celebrations with large digital monitors, convenient parking lots off the main street a quick drive to the Nowata Cemetery.

Stumpff – Skiatook funeral home is conveniently located in Skiatook on North Cincinnati Ave. and easy access to both Skiatook Cemeteries: our Green Acers Memorial Gardens, 8 minutes from our chapel as well as both Osage Gardens and Rest Haven in Sperry just 4.8 miles a short 6-minute drive. Our historical location easily accessed from Highway 20, and just east of State Highway 75 North is centrally located in Skiatook near Collinsville, Avant, Sperry, Turley, Hominy and Barnsdall.

Peters and his wife Betty chose the Stumpff Family with their long tradition of Oklahoma Funeral and Cremation traditions to align his family business with in 1980. Our nondenominational chapel is designed to seat nearly 100 people. The music system allows not only for the option of pianist or organist, one or more vocalists or congregational singing. Stumpff-Skiatook is very well appointed like no other in the surrounding Skiatook Area.
