Terry Don Jester

Terry Don Jester, 78, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026. Terry was born on October 10, 1947, in McCaskill, Arkansas, to Clarence and Vera Jester. He grew up with a strong work ethic and a determination that would serve him well throughout his life. Terry worked as a skilled welder and machinist, for Applied Automation and also being self employed. He took great pride in his craftsmanship and was known for his ability to build, repair, and create just about anything he set his mind to. On May 13, 1966, Terry married the love of his life, Ginger. Together they built a life centered around faith, family, and enduring love. Their marriage was blessed with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who brought him tremendous joy. Terry enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found hunting, fishing, or working on woodworking projects. He was also a devoted fan of OU sports and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on the Sooners. Whether spending time in the woods, in his workshop, or surrounded by family, Terry found happiness in life's simple pleasures. More than anything, Terry loved his family. He cherished every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, leaving behind countless memories that will be treasured for generations. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Vera Jester; brothers, Charles, Ivan, and Dwight Jester; sisters, Lenda, Shelby, and Dean; and his beloved daughter, Amanda. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ginger Jester; daughters, Krissy Pace and husband Wally, and Kelly Pugh and husband Ted; son, Christian Jester and wife Tracy; grandchildren, Sterling, Abby, Tanner, Forrest, Dawson, Caitlyne, Landon, and Kendal; eleven great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends who will deeply miss him. A memorial service celebrating Terry's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Dewey, Oklahoma. Though he will be greatly missed, Terry's legacy of hard work, devotion to family, and love for the outdoors will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
