Robert Lewis Teehee

Robert Lewis "Bob" Teehee, age 81, passed from this life into glory with his Lord and Savior on September 3, 2021. Robert was born and raised in Skiatook, Oklahoma. He graduated from Skiatook High School in 1958. Robert served in the United States Army for two years (1963-1965) and was stationed in Hawaii during that time. He then returned to California where he resided for two years before returning to his childhood home in Skiatook. There he settled down and married his childhood sweetheart, Paulette S. Killion, on July 21, 1971. This union was blessed with one son, Clint Teehee, in 1977. Robert was blue collared to the core. He took pride in his work and had a great work ethic that began at a young age while working with his dad around the home-place. Whether it was gardening, picking cotton out in the fields, or junking, Robert carried that love of work ethic throughout his entire life. He learned that if a job was worth doing, it was worth doing right and he passed this valuable ethic on to his son. During his employment years, he worked for Unit Rig, Bama Pie, Waynor, Sunoco, Texaco, Byers Chevrolet, Greenwoods, and then retired from Skiatook Public Schools in 2016 after 20 years of employment. Robert grew up with a love for fishing and always enjoyed a good game of horseshoes. (He was pretty salty playing left-handed even though he was naturally right-handed!) He enjoyed working outside, gardening and spending time with family - most notably at 4th of July and Christmas. Robert had an impeccable memory and had a great love for story telling. He penned several childhood memories into books that he passed down to his loved ones. Robert was a very proud dad and grandpa. His zeal for life and love for his family will give them cherished memories for years to come. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Charles H. Teehee, and mother, Hazel Ellen (Gaylor) Teehee; three brothers, Dale C. Teehee, Lloyd J. Teehee, and Charles Allen Teehee(infant); seven sisters, Odessa P. McCullough, R. Lee Thompson, Vickie V. Cope, Myra R. Ward-Harry, Marguerite McClellan, Evelyn Jacobs, and Shala Ruth Teehee(infant). He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Paulette S. Teehee; son, Clint H. Teehee and wife Libbie; two grandsons, Elijah J. Teehee and wife Oriauna, Isaiah M. Teehee and wife Sydney; granddaughter, Moriah G. Teehee-Higgins and husband Gavin; two great-granddaughters, Elena R. Teehee and Hazel G. Teehee; great-grandson, Thaddaeus J. Teehee; two sisters, Remona White and Cheryl R. Teehee; one brother, Houston B. Teehee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
