Beatrice (Steel) Robinson

Funeral services for Beatrice (Steel) Robinson, 87, of Skiatook, Oklahoma will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday December 12, 2009 at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dale Nielsen officiating. Interment in Osage Garden Cemetery was under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service were Joe Getz, George Ball, Ron Sherard, Matt Steel, Luke Steel and Jacob Steel. Musical selections for the service were Amazing Grace , Peace In The Valley and How Great Thou Art . Beatrice (Steel) Robinson a homemaker, passed away December 9, 2009. She was born November 18, 1922 to Levi and Josie Belle Bozarth of Vienna, Alabama. She married Elbert Steel in Truman, AR on September 15, 1939. They were married for 43 years until his passing on March 24, 1982. Beatrice remarried Troy W. Robinson and they resided in Barnsdall and Skiatook until his passing on April 14, 1999. She lived at her home in Skiatook until March 1, 2009 and then resided at the Skiatook Nursing Home until her passing. Beatrice enjoyed cooking, canning, quilting but most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by four sons: Larry Steele and wife Gayla of Sperry; Gary Steele and wife LeJean of Denton, TX; Roger Steel of Skiatook; and Dan Steel and wife Cyndi of Skiatook. Her oldest son Bob Wayne Steel preceded her in death on October 26, 2008. Bob is survived by his wife Tina Steel of Tulsa. Beatrice was blessed with ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Grandchildren in order of birth are Andrea K. Sherard, Plano, TX; Stacy Steele (deceased February 1991); Casey Ball, Sperry, OK; Jamie Steel, Kansas City, MO; Esther Avery, Turley, OK; Erich P. Brown, Denton, TX; Nikki Getz, Skiatook, OK; Matt Steel, Tulsa, OK; Jake and Luke Steel of Skiatook , OK; Great grand children in order of birth, are Devon Ball, Jaret Sherard, Peyton Getz, Noah Ball, Nicholas Ball, Ty Sherard, Bryce Steel, Parker Getz and Isabella Ball. Beatrice was the third child of twelve children, seven sisters and four brother. She was preceded in death by 7 siblings and survived by 4 sisters; Vester Accuff of Crystal Springs, MS; Frances Robinson of Wynne, AR; Dorothy Jean Koons of Pocohantas, AR; and Christine Ellis of Wynne, Ar.
