Funeral services for Wilma Lucille Miller, 86, of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel in Skiatook, OK, with Chaplain Jim Dodds officiating. Interment in Hillside Cemetery is under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Musical selections for the service are "Shall We Gather at the River" and "The Old Rugged Cross". Wilma passed away on May 24, 2013 in Skiatook, Oklahoma. She was born November 24, 1926 in Avant, Oklahoma to William Franklin and Eva May (Whallon) Brown. Wilma was the youngest child of her family but was a strong girl that could toss a bale of hay from the truck to the barn. She left school before the 8th grade to go to work to help out at home. She later went to work at Barnsdall's first nursing home. After working at the nursing home she decided to go to work as a private duty nurse, but as she lost her hearing she had to stop working. Wilma lived a quiet peaceful life, living her last years at the Skiatook Nursing Home. She is survived by her son Clarence Gene Wadsworth of Barnsdall; granddaughter Tammy Berry, two great grandchildren: Julie and Tony Berry, a sister Lavida of California; and a niece Francella of Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Cotton Miller, a son William David Wadsworth, and 3 siblings. www.Peters-Stumpff.com
