William Everett (Bill) Bell was born on September 21, 1936 to W. A. (Red) and Mary Marjorie Young Bell in Wolco, Oklahoma. He passed away At his home in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. He was raised in the Barnsdall area and started his education at a one room school located at Tallant a Cities Service Camp. He attended Nelogany schools until his through the 8th grade and graduated from Barnsdall schools in 1954. Following graduation, he attended Northern Oklahoma Junior College in Tonkawa, Oklahoma graduating with an associate degree in 1956. While at Northern he participated in football basketball and baseball while lettering. He finished his higher education at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma graduating in 1959 after a 6-month stint in United Stated Army. Bill was stationed in Fort Dix, New Jersey for basic training and then in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Following his release from active duty, he completed his tour of duty in the Army Reserves in Bartlesville, Oklahoma until his honorable discharge. He married Beth Ann Clark on September 7, 1958 and they raised three sons. Brian, Bruce, and Brad. They have two granddaughters, Taylor Morgan Bell, Raygan Nevaeh Bell and two step granddaughters, Nikki Carroll, Amber Richardson. After graduating college Bill began a career with Cities Service Oil Company in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and later in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He retired after 34 years as Manager of company operated joint interest. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Bell. Survivors include his wife Beth of the home, Brian Bell of Marco Island, Florida, Bruce Bell and wife Laura of Marco Island, Florida and Bradley Bell and wife Tennie of Denver, Colorado. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Barnsdall Cemetery fund or the Barnsdall Education Fund.
