Funeral services for Virgil Dean Moles, 73 of Skiatook, were held Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home, with Chaplain Eldose Joy of Good Shepherd Hospice officiating. Arrangements were by Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Musical selections for the service were Amazing Grace , In The Garden , The Old Rugged Cross . Virgil passed away on March 25, at his residence. He was born on June 13, 1937 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Fate and Dollie (Rudisell) Moles. He grew up in Hominy, he later joined the Army and was stationed in Alaska. Virgil married Lettiemae Smock on July 30, 1960 in Miami, OK. They moved to Skiatook in 1969 where they made their home. Virgil was active in the little league baseball program as a coach. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with the boys. He is survived by his wife Lettiemae of the home; two sons: Leslie Dean Moles and Randy Dean Moles both of Skiatook; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one sister Dorothy Horn of Hominy. He was preceded in death by his parents, a step-son Arthur Rogers and ten siblings. Peters-stumpff.com
