Violet Orlena Hacker

Funeral services for Violet Orlena Hacker, 83, of Owasso, Oklahoma were held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 28, 2014 at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel in Skiatook, with Pastor Mark Mueller officiating. Interment in Green Acres Memorial Garden Cemetery was under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service were Shane Hacker, Chris Irwin, Dale Hacker, Steven Frazee, Brandon Hacker and Korey Wilson. Musical selection for the service was "I'll Fly Away". Violet passed away on January 24, 2014. She was born November 13, 1930 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Alvin Louis and Edna Oleta (Spence) Crawford. She married William "Bill" Lee Hacker on August 8, 1948; he preceded her in death on January 7, 2010. Violet had made her home in Tulsa since 1948 until moving to Owasso a couple of years ago. She had been a charter member of the Tulsa Wesleyan Church since the early 50's. Violet is survived by her two sons: Ben Hacker and wife Kathy of Hudson, CO; Charles Hacker and wife Connie of Owasso; five grandchildren: Chris Irwin, Shari Akin, Dori Howard, Josh Hacker, Shane Hacker, nine great grandchildren: Ashlee and Britnee Kenny, Katie Irwin, Steven and Nick Frazee, Quentin Hacker, Zack Akin, Colton Hacker, Brooklyn Akin and one great great granddaughter Leyton. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
