Steve C. Ullrich

October 17, 1950 - March 14, 2022

Stephen Carnell Ullrich, 71, spouse of Kay (Spurlock) Ullrich, passed away March 14, 2022. Steve, son of Carnell and Patty (Lewis) Ullrich, was born October 17, 1950 in Tulsa, OK. A celebration of life officiated by Joe Rozell will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022 in the Caney Valley Gymnasium, Ramona, OK. Lunch for all friends and family to follow at the Ramona Post 334 American Legion, 400 Veterans Blvd., Ramona, OK. Steve graduated from Ramona High School. He then began his trade as a welder. He retired after 35 years of service as the number one welder and crew chief at American Airlines. He loved American Airlines and enjoyed going to work every day. On February 4, 2006, Steve married Kay. They had 16 wonderful years together. Steve enjoyed many things, playing softball, bowling, restoring antique toy trucks and tractors, and junking with Kay. He had a huge collection of restored trucks and tractors, and treasures he and Kay found on their many road trips. Steve was a friend to everyone he met. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a loving dad who supported and loved watching Clayton and Stephanie in sports, cattle shows, and rodeo. He loved his family and loved spending time with them. Steve was a great husband, father, father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, son, uncle, and Papaw. Steve is survived by his wife Kay Ullrich of Skiatook; Two children and their spouses, Clayton and Leslie Ullrich of Ramona, OK, and Terry and Stephanie Orman of Bentonville, AR; Two stepchildren and their spouses, Jason and Lindsay Clyma of Claremore, OK, and Skyler and Casey Carter of Foyil, OK; Grandchildren, Colten, Michaela, Lane, Ace, Taylor, Landry, Addison, Avery, Gavin, Waylon, Kagan, Cayedence, and Bryar; Great-Grandchildren, Ladd and Loyal; Two brothers and their spouses, Scott and Marie Ullrich of Bartlesville, OK and Tony and Cindy Ullrich of Ramona, OK; Sister-in-law Carlotta Gordon, and Brother-in-law and spouse Jim and Itrecia Campbell; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carnell “Red”, and Patty Ullrich. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Welch FFA at 707 South Curtis Street, Welch, OK 74369
