Shirley Jean White

August 21, 1949 - July 24, 2012

Funeral services for Shirley Jean White, 62, of Skiatook, Oklahoma, will be held Friday, July 27, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at the Calvary Apostolic Church with Reverend John Carroll officiating, Dewey Smith speaking, and David Jones reading the eulogy. Interment in Osage Garden Cemetery in Skiatook, OK, is under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service are Richard Smith, David Jones, Jeremy Jones, Robert Dunivan, Scott Coleman, Dewey Smith and John White. Musical selections for the service are "Amazing Grace" sung by David Jones, "Let It Be" and "Heaven". Shirley passed away on July 24, 2012, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on August 21, 1949 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Roy Oscar and Alice Delories (Hart) Smith. She was a graduate of McClain High School in Tulsa. Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking, especially pies. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Shirley is survived by two sons: Robert Dunivan of Utah; John White of Skiatook; a daughter Sheryl Coleman and husband Scott of Frisco, TX; her significant other Richard Smith of Skiatook; three grandchildren: Sarah Dunivan, Riley & Chassidy Dunivan, five sisters: Gala Bilby of Tulsa; Mona Jones, Pamela Smith both of Skiatook; Nora Carpenter of Tennessee; Teresa Byrd of Skiatook; three brothers: Roy Smith of Corpus Christi, TX; Jimmy Smith of Norman; Dewey Smith of Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
