He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, especially with his grandchildren. Carl enjoyed cooking with his specialty being pizza. Family game night was always a favorite. He also was an avid reader and baseball fan, and liked doing needlepoint. Carl had a terrific sense of humor; he was the master of “Dad Jokes.” Carl was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Barbara Epperson and Anna Lyons. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Doris Lee of the home, a son Christopher and wife Jeannine Lee of Bartlesville, daughters Kristin Lee of Oklahoma City and Keri and husband Rudy Mills of Manhattan, Kansas. Carl is also survived by his grandchildren Stephen, Garrett, and Allison Lee of Bartlesville and Payton and Silas Mills of Manhattan, Kansas. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 2, 2021, at the Dewey Church of Christ, 1313 N. Osage Ave., Dewey, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial contribution be made in his name to the Dewey Church of Christ Mission Funds.
