Funeral services for Ronald Lee Olson, 61 of Skiatook, Oklahoma will be held Monday, April 16, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Tuttle officiating. Interment in Bixby Cemetery, in Bixby, Oklahoma is under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service are Joshua Fridenberg, Aaron Hunt, Franklin "Ted" Olson Jr., Franklin "Teddy" Olson III, Curtis Woodward, and Chris Nunnally. Honorary casket bearers are Cody Staggers, Jesse Ellett and Evalena May Harper. Ronald passed away on April 10, 2012 at his residence. He was born February 18, 1951 in Omaha, Nebraska to Frank T. and Margaret Eva (McCormack) Olson. Ronald was a graduate of Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He continued his education with Ford Tech Schooling where he became a Ford Certified Mechanic. He worked as a mechanic for 31 years and as a machine operator for the last eight to ten years. He moved to Skiatook in November of 2011, before that he lived in Omaha, Nebraska for 10 years. Ronald enjoyed spending time with his family and was considered grandpa to many kids other than his own. Ronald is survived by his son Ronald Lee Olson Jr. of Tulsa; a daughter Angel Fridenberg and husband Dan of Skiatook; a sister Eva L. Harper of Broken Arrow; a brother Franklin Theodore Olson and wife Judy of Georgia; 7 grandchildren: Amanda Hunt and husband Aaron, Joshua Fridenberg and wife Celia, Amy Fridenberg, Danyeal Staggers, Cody Staggers and Fiancé Winter, Breezy Fridenberg, Alexis Fridenberg, 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
