Funeral services for Minnie Katheryn Morrison Rayles, 104 of Skiatook, were held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Wayne Miller officiating. Interment in Resthaven Cemetery, in Sperry, Oklahoma was under the directions of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Musical selections for the service were In The Garden Old Rugged Cross , Gathering FlowersFor The Masters Bouquet , Thank You and I Lift My Eyes with Mark Wayne Miller as vocalist. Minnie passed away on January 15, 2009 in Skiatook, Oklahoma. She was born on October 30, 1904 in Jay, Oklahoma to Joseph and Julia Ann (Cumiford) Morrison. She was the second of seven children and was the only remaining member of her immediate family. At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her savior and was baptized in a creek near Jay. Minnie worked in Pawhuska caring for a couple of families there. She later met Andrew Jackson Rayles and they married on October 31, 1927. They made their life in Oklahoma and finally settled in Skiatook. They were such a good match because they both loved to work. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1965. Although they had no children, there were many nieces and nephews and she even raised one of her nephews. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
