Mikel Ray Huffstutler

Mikel Ray Huffstutler passed away March 10, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 63. He was born to Norman Dale Huffstutler and Marilyn Coy Huffstutler on August 28, 1958, in Fairfield, Illinois. Mikel attended Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology where he became a diesel mechanic. He worked in transportation management at Highland Dairy and CR. England Freight. On August 6, 1979, Mikel married the love of his life, Rita Elaine (Adams) Huffstutler. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising cows. One of his greatest accomplishments was becoming a founding trustee of Freedom Baptist Church in Owasso, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father Norman Huffstutler. Mikel is survived by his wife Rita Huffstutler, his mother Marilyn Huffstutler, his son Coy Huffstutler, his daughter-in-law Andrea Huffstutler; and his beloved grandchildren: Mason, Cole, Emery, and Eli. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 10 am at First Baptist Church in Nowata and is under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory.
