Michelle "Shelly" Sue Gleason Sims Moore

March 25, 1969 - October 2, 2020

Michelle “Shelly” Sue Gleason Sims Moore, 51, passed away at 3:39 A.M. on Friday, October 2, 2020, surrounded by her entire family that loved her so very much. Shelly was diagnosed with cancer in early September 2020 and was called home to our Lord sparing her of a long battle of pain and suffering. Shelly was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 25, 1969 to David Allen Gleason and Wanda Sue (Weber) Gleason. Shelly graduated from Bartlesville High School in 1988 and began working at Jane Phillips Medical Center where she was employed for over 28 years and continued working in the medical field thereafter. Shelly married Randy Jay Sims on October 6, 1990 and they share two sons, Tyler Jay Sims and Dylan Michael Sims. Shelly married Edward “Eddie” Dean Moore on January 1, 2011. Shelly was always full of life and her two boys were her pride and joy. Shelly was ecstatic when she became a “Mimi” in 2019 and again in April 2020. Shelly enjoyed camping and going to the lake, going to the drag car strip, and just hanging out with her family and friends. She could always light up a room with her smile and laugh. Shelly was preceded in death by her father, David Allen Gleason, and her grandmother, Betty Louise Tucker. Shelly is survived by her husband, Eddie Moore of Claremore, her mother and stepfather, Wanda and Donald Proctor of Dewey, her son Tyler Sims and wife Courteney of Wichita Falls, TX, her son Dylan Sims and fiancée Alondra of Bartlesville, her stepson Tyler Moore and fiancée Khassidy of Claremore, her stepbrother, Clint Proctor of Dewey, her Aunt Diana Allen of Bartlesville, her Aunt Vickie Shaw of Bartlesville, her cousin Rebecca Landreth of Owasso, her cousin Paul Fiddler of Bartlesville, her dear family friend, Natalie Dillon of Dewey, and her two precious grandbabies - granddaughter Mila Kay Sims of Wichita Falls, TX and her grandson Syrus Glenn Sims of Bartlesville. Private family services will be held and cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cornerstone hospice. Shelly’s entire family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Cornerstone Hospice and the amazing girls who assisted them in caring for Shelly.
