Mary Jane Sharp

April 22, 1930 - June 11, 2022

Mary Jane Sharp, 92, left this earth to join Jesus and other family members on June 11, 2022, at 12:10 pm. She will be missed by her family and friends until we all meet again. Jane was born to Roy Felix Sparks and Goldie Opal (Davis) Sparks on April 22, 1930, in Shidler, Oklahoma. Jane graduated from Bartlesville Highschool, after high school, she married John Russell on May 21, 1948, and they had two daughters together. She worked for the First National Bank for several years before going to work for the Phillips Petroleum company. She worked for Phillips Petroleum for 34 years before retiring in 1985. Jane married Kenneth Sharp on September 15, 1972. She was a member of the Revival Time Church. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed reporting the highs and lows of each game. Jane participated in numerous bible studies over the years and cherished many friendships she made from those groups. She was proceeded in death by her father, Roy Felix Sparks; mother, Goldie Opal Sparks; husband Kenneth Roe Sharp; great-granddaughter, Aspyn Jane Johnson; and her first love and father of her children, John Douglas Russell. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Russell and Sharon Hainzinger; grandchildren, Pamela Reeder, Michael Hainzinger, and Lindsay Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Levi Cook, Lauren Keeling, Phoenix Johnson, Memphis Johnson, and Waverly Johnson. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. No service is planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Revival Time Church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
