Funeral Services for Mary Nell Glasco, 86, of Skiatook, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday December 7, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Avant, Oklahoma with Raymond Henson officiating. Interment in Osage Garden Cemetery was under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Mary passed away on December 3, 2009 in Sperry, OK. She was born January 15, 1923 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Knox and Alma (Wells) Murrell. She graduated from Purcell High School. Upon graduation she entered a nursing program which she later used working as a nurse for Dr. Rosedall and Dr. Guthrie. She had said those were the best years of her life. She married Raymond Glasco on June 22, 1946; they have lived in the Skiatook area since 1957. Mary enjoyed cooking and reading cooking magazines. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Avant. She is survived by her husband Raymond of the home, two sons: Bill Glasco of Tampa Bay, FL; Gary Glasco and wife Teresa of Sperry; grandchildren: Tara Glasco, Jeremy Glasco wife Emily, Dillon Glasco, their brothers Nick & Matt, Kaylee Glasco & Fiance Fernando Fernandez, Calla Langston, and many great grandchildren, two brothers: Kenneth Murrell and Buddy Murrell. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Betty.
