Marilyn Gaye Alltop

December 30, 1955 - April 11, 2022

Beloved wife, mother, nana (grandmother), daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Marilyn Blackwell Alltop passed away on April 11, 2022. Marilyn was born on December 30, 1955 to Alvin and Nadine Blackwell in Hominy, Oklahoma. She attended school in Avant and Barnsdall. She grew up attending the First Assembly of God Church in Barnsdall and was a member of the Lighthouse Family Worship Center in Barnsdall. Marilyn married Tom Alltop on June 30, 2003 and made their home in Barnsdall. Marilyn has one son, Joshua David Fleming from her marriage with Dave Fleming and two granddaughters, Samantha Fleming Anderson and Jessica Fleming, all of Skiatook. Marilyn loved to be with her family, snapchat, fishing and hunting arrowheads. She loved going on Harley road trips with Tom. She had a large family of “adopted” children that will miss her dearly. Most of all Marilyn loved Jesus and had a wonderful Christian faith. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Tom Alltop, her son Joshua Fleming, granddaughter and grandson Samantha Fleming Anderson and William Anderson, granddaughter Jessica Fleming, her mother Nadine Chambers Blackwell, her siblings, Gloria Blackwell, Virginia Carroll, Tim and Evie Blackwell and Lori and John Tisdale. Marilyn has numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Blackwell and two brothers Tom Blackwell, Jerry Blackwell, and brother-in-law Herb Carroll. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Barnsdall Ministerial Alliance, P.O. Box 573, Barnsdall, OK 74002. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 2:30 PM at Barnsdall Assembly of God Church, 120 N. 3rd, Barnsdall, OK.
