Margie Lou Thompson

Memorial services for Margie Lou Thompson, 81, of Skiatook, Oklahoma, were held Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Community of Christ Church in Sperry, with Bill Hardie officiating.             Interment in Resthaven Cemetery in Sperry was under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home.                Margie passed away on July 14, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She was born on November 6, 1934 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Manuel Henrey and Lilla Mae (Padgett) Hughes. She was a graduate of Central High School. Margie married Bill Thompson, whom preceded her in death on July 2, 2004. She worked as a bookkeeper for GMAC.  Margie was a lifelong area resident and was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Sperry.                 Margie is survived by her daughter Vicki Jordan of Skiatook; step daughter Lori Wilson of Tulsa; two granddaughters: Leann Tindell, Jody Womack, three great grandsons: Tristan Womack, Gavin Womack, Jathan Womack and one great granddaughter Jewel Hobia.        She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill and a brother H.M. Hughes.
