Funeral services for Margie Lee Perigo, 89 of Skiatook, were held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Skiatook, Oklahoma with Gary Butler officiating. Interment in Osage Garden Cemetery was under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service were Tommy Thompson, Harley Perigo, Smokey Perigo, Drew Myers, Chandler Perigo, Bay-Lee Perigo and Hunter Perigo. Honorary casket bearers for the service were Larry Hill, Kenny Lett, Danny Powell, Jason Dohn, Stephen Cooper, Jaxson Dohn, Jase Dohn, Haden Newman and Kyler Cooper. Musical selections for the service were "The Old Rugged Cross"and "Go Rest High On That Mountain". Margie passed away on April 13, 2016, in Owasso, Oklahoma. She was born on October 22, 1926 in Avant, Oklahoma to Ferdinand and Tennie Agnes (Turnbull) Stuart. She married Scott Jonathan Perigo Jr. on July 6, 1943; he preceded her in death on December 7, 1981. In Margie's younger years she worked for McDonnell-Douglas. She later worked for Munsingwear in Hominy for 19 years. Margie had been a lifelong Skiatook area resident. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery for many years. Margie is survived by her three children: Jackie Hill and husband Larry of St. Petersburg, FL; Shirley Lett and husband Kenny, Milton Perigo and wife Deborah all of Skiatook; seven grandchildren: Tonya Thompson of Dallas, TX; Tommy Thompson of Tulsa; Shelley Dohn, Misty Cooper, Harley Perigo, Smokey Perigo, Desire' Powell all of Skiatook; 17 great grandchildren, and a sister Mary Howell of Wynona. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Scott, five siblings: Evelyn Carter, Cecil Roberts, Barbara Taylor, Rita Stuart and Tommy Stuart.
