Mala Louise Barber

Mala L. Barber, 83 of Skiatook, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014 in Skiatook. She was born February 8, 1931 in Keota, Oklahoma, to Orpha Edward and Merilda Johnson McSperitt. Mala retired as a factory worker at Fomac Industries many years ago. She is survived by one son, Carol Barber of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Connie Dale Ingram of Sperry, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Caroll Barber, Daniel Barber, Angela Barnes, Deidre Duncan, Bridget Dowdy, and James Eller; eleven great-grandchildren, Kaylee, CJ, DJ and Anthony Barber; Derek, Matthew and Jonathan Kyle Barnes; Devin and Tayler Duncan; Racheal Bracket & Deborah Mills; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carol Barber; one daughter, Lou Eller; four brothers, Riley Tate, Kenneth, Cager and Clifford McSperitt; and one sister, Opal Spencer. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October, 14, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
