Lora Jean Brandon

December 8, 1944 - January 29, 2021

Lora Jean Brandon (Jeffers) passed away Friday morning January 29, 2021 at the Medicalodge Nursing Home in Dewey, OK where she had lived for two years. She was 76 years old. Lora was born December 8, 1944 in Chanute, Kansas to Erma Ruby & James Wayne Brandon. She was the youngest of their six children, Shirley Brandon Moshart, Barbara Brandon Meador, Wayne Brandon, Dean Brandon, and Spencer Brandon. Lora attended schools in the Chanute area all her life and graduated Chanute High School in 1962. She moved to Kansas City after high school and started working at Hallmark Cards in the art department and soon met and married Robert Johnson in 1963. They had a son Brian Scot Jeffers (Johnson) in 1964 and soon divorced. Lora then met and married Robert Dale Jeffers in 1966 and they had one daughter Wendy Jeffers Fields in 1968. Lora and Robert moved to Bartlesville, OK in 1970 where she lived in the same house for almost 50 years. She had many hobbies through the years, including drawing and painting which she won many awards at the Washington County fair including the Grand Prize a couple of times and gardening which she seemed to love the most. Lora had four grandchildren, Linaye, Serena, Brian II, and Jacob. Lora had one great grandchild Baby Brian III. Lora loved all of her family; she had 17 nieces and nephews and loved all of them. She was a loving person to all children in her neighborhood and will be missed by all.
