Linda D. Gosney, 71, of Skiatook, Oklahoma peacefully passed away on September 20, 2017 at her home in Skiatook, Oklahoma. She was born January 7, 1946 in Temple, Texas. As a child, she was raised in the San Diego area. She graduated from Clovis High School in New Mexico. She also was a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin. Linda was a team leader for the initial implementation of medicare in the state of Texas. She moved from Dallas to Oklahoma City where she led the fraud and abuse medical team for the state of Oklahoma. Linda is survived by her husband of the home, Doug, daughter Teresa Orf and husband Ken, son Tige Bradley, son Ryan Gosney and wife Ramsee, daughter Moriah Gosney, daughter Chelsea Harding and husband Brian, 8 grandchildren, two sisters: JoAnn Linville, and Wanda Merritt. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of life will be held Saturday October 7, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Luigi's Italian Restaurant in Skiatook, OK. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Red Cross Puerto Rico Hurricane fund. Cremation services were under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home.
