Linda Kay Fugate Gertson passed away on December 3, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 70. She was born to William Bill and Ruby Sisco Hall on August 27, 1951, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was the second youngest of 10 children. Linda attended Muskogee Public Schools. In the mid 1970’s, she moved from Muskogee to Bartlesville, where she has been a resident for the last 45 years. Linda became a mother in 1970, and had four more children by 1985, she also became a grandmother in 1984, and great-grandmother in 2004. She worked for Bama Pie, ARC, where she stayed for 27 years, and later at Walmart for 10 years. On January 21, 2021, Linda married Lloyd Wayne Gertson. She cherished every moment she had with Lloyd and loved him dearly. Linda was a dedicated woman of God, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, wife and friend. Linda was a faithful member of Bartlesville Pentecostal Tabernacle since she moved to Bartlesville and loved her church family and pastor Sister Kidd with all her heart. She loved going to church and rarely missed a service. Church was her happy place. She also enjoyed reading books, especially her bible, she loved watching Christmas movies, specifically Hallmark, vacations with her family, and watching Little House on the Prairie with her granddaughter Saleena. She was known for selflessly helping people, greeting everyone with a big smile and a hug, and was likely to clean anybody’s house that she walked into. Enjoyed being spoiled by her daughter, who showered her with endless gifts, vacations and surprise parties. She never said “goodbye”, it was always “see you later”, and she always thought of others first. To know her was to love her. She is preceded in death by her mother Ruby Sisco Hall, her father William Bill Hall, seven siblings: Mildred Hall, Billy Hall, Earl Hall, Jerry Hall, Charles Hall, Ella Hall, and Lena Hall; one great-grandchild, Braden Deitrick; three nieces: Donna Hall, Elaine Collins, and Catherine Durossette; two nephews: Mark Hall and Larry Hall. Linda leaves her legacy through her husband Lloyd Wayne Gertson; five children: Carla Bradburn of Nowata, Peter McIntire of Bartlesville, Billy McIntire of Montana, Shannon McIntire of Dewey, and Ashley Fugate and Christopher Maggio of Ochelata; 13 grandchildren: Emily and Mike Keever of Dewey, Arther and Gina Pendergraft of Bartlesville, David and Kieshia Pendergraft of Bartlesville, Shannon and Makayla Lynch of Bartlesville, Heather Lynch of Texas, Kayleigh Brown of Clevland, Samantha Brown of Arkansas, Peter Charles Joseph McIntire of Okesa, Alyssa McIntire of Bartlesville, Cheyenne Huff of Bartlesville, Saleena Catlin of Ochelata, Christian Maggio of Ochelata, and Abigail McIntire of Bartlesville; two siblings: Lenard and Paulen Hall of Muskogee, and Peggy Sutton of Kansas. She also equally loved her 24 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, friends, and her church family. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 10, 2021, at 2 PM at Happy Hill Church in Ramona, Oklahoma, and is under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory.
