Kim Lynnette Tinkler

June 2, 1957 - October 2, 2019

Funeral services for Kim Lynnette Tinkler, 62, of Skiatook, OK, will be held Monday, October 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home in Skiatook, Oklahoma, with Pastor Jerry Reed officiating. Interment in Wetumka Cemetery is at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home.  Casket bearers for the serviced will be Nick Rainwater, Drew Rainwater, Clif Tinkler, Ron May, Stuart Anderson and Todd Hazelwood.  Honorary casket bearers are Cade Rainwater and Aden Tinkler. Kim passed away on October 2, 2019, at her residence.  She was born on June 2, 1957, in El Dorado, Kansas to Vernon Ermon and Eunia Faye (Tipton) Norman.  Kim was raised and received her early education in Wichita, Kansas.  She was a co Valedictorian in the graduating class of 1975 of Tahlequah High School, later attending Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.  Kim married James R. Tinkler on May 25, 2002 in Sand Springs making their home there until moving to Skiatook in August of 2004. She was employed with the U.S. Government as an advisor for the IRS, retiring after 28 years.  She attended the Assembly of God Church. Kim is survived by her husband Jim of the home, two sons: Nick Rainwater and wife Taylor, Drew Rainwater and wife Micheala all of Jenks; her mother Eunia Faye Hazlewood and husband Robert of Tahlequah; step son James Clifton Tinkler and wife Laken of Wetumka; a step daughter Heather and Serge Boutenoff of Wallingford, Connecticut; a step brother Todd Hazelwood, two step sisters: Jacque Fender and Denny of Spring Creek, Nevada; Jody and Steve Edmundson of Bloomfield, Nebraska; nine grandchildren: Clara McGinness, Aden Tinkler, Cade Rainwater, Piper Rainwater,  Jase Rainwater, Crew Rainwater, Ryan Rainwater, Aaron Tinkler, Mira Bountenoff and many other family and friends.
