Jeanne Smart

Jeanne Smart passed unexpectedly March 15, 2022. She was born November 28, 1946 to Henry and Helen Powell in Chetopa, Kansas. Sha was Adopted by George and Margie Stillwaugh from Iola, Kansas, where she grew up. She was married to Jerry Smart for 19 years before he passed away. She loved the outdoors, working on the family farm. She loved going fishing and spending time with her fur babies. Jeanne love sitting at the park every day and loved her dog, Daisy. She is survived by her lifelong partner, Everett Benfer Sr., daughter, Laurie Hall, and grandsons Cord Hall and Ethan Hall. Two sisters and one brother, one stepdaughter, and eight stepsons along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved and adored each of them, no matter what. She was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband, a daughter at birth, and a great-grandson. Cremation has taken place under the care of Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory. There will be a gathering at a later date.
