Jay Dee Arnold

Jay Dee Arnold, age 62, died on January 5, 2021 at the Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, January 9, 2021, 10:00 in the morning at City Church, Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Mr. Arnold will be buried at a later date in Missouri at the family cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory. Jay Arnold was born May 14, 1958, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Jefferson Davis Arnold (JD) and Jo Ann Mcspadden Arnold. He graduated from high school in Oak Grove, Missouri in 1976. Jay married Brenda K. Arnold on December 23, 1983. He accepted Jesus as Lord in Savior in 1974 at the age of 16 and lead worship at his father in law's church in Fredericksburg, Texas with his family. He retired from the Travis County Sheriffs Department in Austin, Texas. Jay and Brenda celebrated 37 years of marriage on December 23, 2020. Jay enjoyed the guitar, music, cooking, church, Dallas Cowboys, and granddaughters' football. Jay was preceded in death by his parents Jefferson and Jo Ann Arnold. He is survived by his wife Brenda Arnold and his children, Mallory and husband Daniel Baker, Jason and wife Kristin Arnold and Hallie Jo and husband B. J. Warlick; granddaughters Maci and Ellinor Baker; sisters Cinda and husband Paul Shrout and Linda Arnold; in-laws, Larry and Carolyn Hopkins, Kym and Stan Whitmore, Susan and Rusty Gross, Jason and Stacey Hopkins; 13 nieces and nephews and 20 great nieces and nephews.
