Graveside services for James Perry Jack Miller, 85 of Skiatook, Oklahoma will be held Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Osage Garden Cemetery in Skiatook, OK, with Father Benjamin Vima officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Military services by the VFW Fifth District Rifle Squad. James passed away on February 20, 2011 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was born September 12, 1925 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Willie Walter and Anna Pauline (Rummage) Miller. He was a graduate of Central High School in Tulsa. He served his county in the Navy during WWII. James was a resident of Skiatook since 1954, where he was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He worked for the U.S. Postal service as a letter carrier for 27 years. He is survived by three children: Rose Marie Miller-Smith, James P. Miller Jr. and George W. Miller all of Skiatook; six grandchildren: April Wilson, Adam Miller, Stephen Miller, Ladonna, Michelle, and Angela, and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three wives: Rosie ORouke, Vivian Emma Gilmore, and Betty Clark, two step children: Susan Hardesty Byrd, Joe Hardesty, a sister Maxine Rodey and a grandchild Johnny.
