Gerald Dee Birmingham

February 21, 1929 - November 19, 2015

Funeral services for Gerald Dee Birmingham, 86, of Skiatook OK, were held Monday, November 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home in Skiatook, Oklahoma, with  D.J. McCarter officiating.             Interment in Osage Garden Cemetery in Skiatook, OK, was under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home.  Gerald's family served as casket bearers for the service.  Musical selection for the service was "How Great Thou Art".                    Gerald passed away on November 19, 2015, at the Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK.  He was born on February 21, 1929, in Dill City, OK to Marcus Lilbon and Mary Ethel (Orr) Birmingham.  He was a graduate of Vera High School.  Gerald married Marjorie Haddock on December 4, 1948.  They have made Skiatook their home since 1948.  Gerald worked as a milkman for the Meadowgold Dairy Company for 35 years.  After he retired he owned and operated B & B Mini Storage in Skiatook. Gerald enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens Center and playing pool and attended the First Baptist Church in Skiatook.   Gerald is survived by his wife Marjorie of the home, two sons: Larry D. Birmingham and wife Mary of Tahlequah; Dennis L. Birmingham and wife Kelly of South Carolina; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a sister Doris Nunnelee of Tulsa and a brother Marion Birmingham of Elmore City, Oklahoma.             He was preceded in death by his parents and ten siblings.   In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Clarehouse in Tulsa.
