Georgia Lucille Henderson

Funeral services for Georgia Lucille Henderson, 100, of Skiatook, Oklahoma, will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel in Skiatook, OK, with Reverend Dale Nielson officiating. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery is under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service are Richard Barnes, Roger Barnes, Alan Barnes, Jerrod Holman and Joseph Barnes. Musical selections for the service are "Hallelujah Square" and "Serenaded by Angels" sung by Richard Barnes . Georgia passed away on January 17, 2014 in Skiatook, Oklahoma. She was born September 30, 1913 in Portland, Indiana to George Edgar and Sarah Jane (VanNurden) Young. She married Joseph Richard Henderson on October 18, 1936; he preceded her in death in May of 1977. Georgia worked as a clerk for the United States Post Office and was a member of the American Postal Workers Union. She was a long time Tulsa resident and attended the First Baptist Church in Skiatook. Georgia loved her family and spending time with them. She is survived by her daughter Patsy Barnes and husband Cledith of Skiatook; three grandsons: Richard Barnes and wife Delores, Roger Barnes and wife Kelly, Alan Barnes and wife Amy all of Skiatook; six great grandchildren: Crystal Grisham, Sarah Holman, Leslie Barnes, Joseph Barnes, Rebecca Barnes and Amanda Barnes, ten great great grandchildren: Dalton, Dayton, Kaylee, Madison, Jacob, Blake, Joseph, Lane, Makayla and Rylee, a sister in law and numerous nieces and nephews. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph, one sister and one brother.
