Funeral services for Evelyn Katherine Lott, 96, of Owasso, OK, were held Friday, October 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel in Skiatook, with Reverend Lisa Hines officiating. Interment in Osage Garden Cemetery was under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service were Robert Sloan, Cody Tatum and Mark Null. Musical selections were "10,000 Reason (Bless the Lord)" and "In The Garden". Evelyn passed away on October 13, 2015, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on November 29, 1918, in Pawnee Oklahoma to Wesley James and Jessie Ella (McKill) Kriewitz. She was a graduate of Hominy High School and went on to attend beauty school eventually sharing a shop with her aunt. Evelyn married Chester Lott on December 22, 1946; he preceded her in death on July 18, 2003. They made their home in Turley for over 50 years where she was a member of the Turley United Methodist Church. Evelyn enjoyed spending time fishing and camping with her family at the lake. She also enjoyed shopping and painting ceramics with her granddaughters. Evelyn is survived by her two daughters: Janice McGee of Talala; Kathy Sloan and husband Robert of Tulsa; three granddaughters: Cyndi, Denise, Lauren three great grandsons, one great granddaughter and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and two brothers.
