Esther Ann Jones

Funeral services for Esther Ann Jones, 93, of Skiatook, Oklahoma will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Zodrow officiating. Interment in Osage Garden Cemetery is under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home.  Casket bearers for the service are Benjie Pace, Lane Williams, Brad Kerr, Ricky Williams III, Brian Krauser and Kevin Kerr. Esther earned her wings and departed this life on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Porta Caeli House in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The daughter of the late William and Mary Buthod, Esther was born ?on January 16, 1926 in Enid, Oklahoma. She later moved to Skiatook, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to William Ray Jones in 1966. He proceeded her in death. Esther was a wonderful grandmother who loved her babies with her whole heart. They meant the world to her and were the light of her life. She took the best care of them. She was one of those grandma's who had anything you needed. She kept her house perfect, even though you never saw her clean. She was a beautiful seamstress. She made clothes for all of her grandchildren. She loved her flowers and her birds. Even after she got sick, she made sure her bird feeder was full and her flowers were watered every single day. She hosted every holiday get together. There were so many of us, you couldn't move. Nothing made her happier than having her family together. She could take one chicken and feed all of us. She was quite a woman. When she moved into her most recent home, she made friends with a squirrel named, Tubby. He came to visit her on a regular basis. She purchased only the "best" pecan halves for him and they would visit back and forth about their day. He was missing a leg and his tail. She loved him so much. She looked forward to seeing him and when he would come, she would light up. No one will ever be able to fill her place in our hearts. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Rick Williams of Adair, Oklahoma, Barbara Krauser of Big Cabin, Oklahoma, and Robert Williams of Skiatook, Oklahoma. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, and many friends. She is proceeded in death by brothers, Leo and John Buthod, sister, Betty Skaggs, and Stepson, Tom Jones. The precious people at Porta Caeli House were so kind and took such great care of grandma in her final days. We are so very grateful.
