Dorothy Lee Harper-Dorman

Graveside services for Dorothy Lee Harper-Dorman, 94 of Skiatook, Oklahoma will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, in Skiatook with Lucian Ferrier officiating.             Interment is under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home.              Dorothy passed away on September 23, 2017 at her home in Skiatook, Oklahoma.  She was born January 16, 1923 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Charles David and Carrie Mae Della (Wallace) Barnes. Dorothy attended Parkin High School.  She married Clarence Lavern Harper, he preceded her in death.  She later married Earl Dorman whom also preceded her in death.  Dorothy worked as a nurse aide at Hillcrest Hospital.  She was a longtime resident of Turley, Sperry and Skiatook area.  She was a member of the Church of Christ in Sperry. She is survived by one daughter, Jan Figart and husband Michael D. of Skiatook; one son, Clarence Lavern Harper and wife Kellye of Seattle, Washington; six grandchildren: Sarah Martin and husband Chad, Amanda Ann Hembree and husband Lance, Michael Dwight Figart Jr. and wife Ashley Dean, David Figart and wife Jessica, Clarence L. "Lee" Harper III and wife Stephanie and Noah John Harper and wife Bristy, 12 great grandchildren: Mathew Martin, Alexis Martin, Alexander, Steven & Mikayla Martin, Persephone & Alanna Hembree, Destiny Figart, Zach, David, John and Sally Figart, one sister Naomi Tate. When she married Earl Dorman two sons were added to the family Jerry Dorman and wife Janice, Vincent Dorman and wife Lisa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.     She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and three sisters.
