Diane Riddle Weese

December 1, 1945 - November 12, 2015

A Celebration of Life funeral service for Diane Riddle Weese, age 69, of Skiatook, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home, 14206 N. Cincinnati Ave., Skiatook, OK. Rev. Cathy Partridge, Lead Pastor of the Princeton, Texas Campus of Christ United Methodist Church, officiating. Mrs. Weese passed on November 12, 2015 in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Diane was born in Los Angeles, California to the late Sherman Franklin Riddle and the late Erma Louise Riddle, but her family shortly returned to Oklahoma where she was raised and graduated from Skiatook High School. Determined to finish her degree after leaving school to marry, Diane became a late-in-life student and graduated from Oklahoma State University. Working in the oil and gas industry for much of her young adult life, she became a full-time mom to raise her children, who were the joys of her life. Diane was a loving mother to five beautiful daughters - a middle child surrounded by two sets of twins - all the loves of her life. She was never so happy to be surrounded by her children and grand-children. With the support of her family, Diane fought a successful battle with ovarian cancer and had been cancer-free for over five years. Diane is survived by her five daughters: Stephanie Thomas and her husband Andrew of Seattle, Washington and Stephanie's two sons, Spencer and Shafer Martin; Stacy Summers and her husband Andrew of Edmond and their children, Aubrey and Charles (Chase); Shannon Bridgman and her husband Brian of Broken Arrow and their children Ike, Reagan and Logan; Jennifer Hedge and her husband Jason of Haskell and their children, Tatum and Dawson; and Jamie Rodzos and her husband Frank of Broken Arrow and their children, Flint and Zaylie. She is also survived by her brothers: Sherman (Sonny) Riddle of Hominy; Gary Riddle; and Randy Riddle and his wife, Mary of Sachse, Texas; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her half-brother, Robert Burks of California, and two sister-in-laws. A viewing will be held at the Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 9 am to 8 pm. Diane's daughters will be in attendance from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
