Funeral services for Bonnie Lou Holloway, 91, of Skiatook, Oklahoma will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, in Skiatook with Pastor Susan Whitley officiating. Interment in Osage Garden Cemetery is under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service are Gerald Barnes, Justin Kehler, Ken Calkins, Russell Hamby, Mark Griggs and Danny Wells. Honorary casket bearers are Carl Holloway, Billy Dale Holloway, Norman Hamby, Ken Gondles and The Chums Club-First United Methodist Church. Musical selections for the service are "Old Rugged Cross" and "Sweet Sweet Spirit". Musicians for the service are Robin Edens and Beverly Dollar. Bonnie passed away on December 12, 2017 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She was born April 9, 1926 in Avant, Oklahoma to Arthur Robert and Edna Ellouise (Brenamen) Griggs. Bonnie was a graduate of the Avant High School Class of 1944. She married Dallas Theodore "Ted" Holloway; he preceded her in death on April 4, 1982. Bonnie worked for the Skiatook public Schools as a cafeteria worker for sixteen years. She then went to work at Wal-Mart as a cashier for twenty years until retiring. Bonnie was a longtime resident of Skiatook until three years ago when she moved to Sapulpa, OK to live with her daughter. While living in Skiatook Bonnie was involved in the American Legion Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star, The Chums Sunday School Class and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son Mike Holloway and wife Elaine of Rogers, Arkansas; daughter Rosemary Hill and husband Ron of Sapulpa, OK; four granddaughters: Michele Holloway and husband Harry of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Vanessa Holloway of Camano Island, WA; Amber Holloway of Houston, TX; Lauren Crail and husband Josh of Hot Springs, Arkansas; three great granddaughters: Kaidence Holloway, Olivia Holloway, Allison Churchman, one great grandson Calvin Collins and a sister Judy Hamby and husband Norman of Rogers, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Mary, two sisters: Edna Wells, Ina Jane Barnes, two brothers: Burl and Jess Griggs.
