Bobby Joe Partain

Bobby Joe Partain was born in Short, Oklahoma on September 30, 1943 to Alvie and Eula Lee (Richardson) Partain. He attended Muldrow High School. In 1962 Bob joined the US Army. He served as an Armored Crewman in the 1st Calvary Division, Korea. Additionally, he was stationed at Ft. Hood and Germany. He married Beverly Sue Berry on April 7, 1965 at Healdton, OK. After the army, Bob and Sue moved to Skiatook, Oklahoma. They raised three children and Bob worked for the John Zink Company for 25 years as a welder, lead man and supervisor. He also was a plant supervisor for Sage Brush Pipeline & Supply in Sapulpa. Bob was an active member of the Skiatook community. He coached little league baseball and basketball, volunteered with the Skiatook FFA and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Additionally Bob was a member of the American Legion and the Skiatook Masonic Lodge. Bob is survived by his wife Susie, son Tommy and his wife Heather, daughter Diana and her husband Bill, a grandson Zach and a granddaughter Jacklyn, a brother C.R. Barnes and his wife Diana, a sister Ruby Powell and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Debra, a brother J.W. and two sisters Velma and Bernice.
