Bob L. Reddell

April 8, 1930 - January 15, 2012

Memorial services for Bob L. Reddell, 81 of Skiatook, Oklahoma wll be held Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel in Skiatook with Larry Wood officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Musical selections for the service are "Beulah Land" and "Grandpa Told Me So". Bob passed away on January 15, 2012 at his residence. He was born April 8, 1930 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to William Ogan and Opal (Buchanan) Reddell. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War for four years. During that time he worked on the construction battalion. He married Marie Vann on October 16, 1955 in Inola, OK. They moved from Chouteau to Skiatook in 1964. Bob supported his family as a self-employed construction worker doing contract work for Bell Telephone until retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Tulsa. He is survived by his wife Marie of the home, two sons: Alan Reddell and Mark Reddell both of Skiatook; five grandchildren: Jerad, Chad, Amber, Chelsey, Nathan, a brother Billy Reddell of Avant; two sisters: Ruby Hockett and husband Nathan of Collinsville; Sandra Kohlmeyer and Earl Green of Tulsa; a brother in law Robert Earl Gilchrist of Avant; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Rosa Lou Gilchrist. www.Peters-Stumpff.com
