Funeral services for Betty Jean Hall, 67, of Sperry, Oklahoma, were held Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel in Skiatook, Oklahoma with Alan South officiating. Interment in Resthaven Cemetery was under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service were Billy G. Hall Jr., David L. Hall, Tommy R. Hall, Steve Spencer, Brian Hines, Jimmy Younger. Betty passed away on March 16, 2009, in Sperry, Oklahoma. She was born on May 12, 1941 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Allie J. and Jewel Pearl (Purdy) Johnston. She married Billy Gene Hall Sr. on March 27, 1961. Betty lived in the Skiatook and Sperry area for twenty years were she was a member of the Senior Citizen Center in Sperry. Betty is survived by her husband Bill Sr. of the home, six children: Rhonda Jean Hines and husband Brian of Tulsa; Billy Gene Hall Jr. and wife April of Bartlesville; David Lee Hall and wife Rebeccah of Tulsa; Melissa Renee Spencer and husband Steve of Tulsa; Julie Ann Younger and husband Jimmy of Skiatook; Tommy Ray Hall of Sperry; twelve grandchildren, one brother Frankie Johnston of Tulsa; two sisters: Sue Bilby and Shirley Helm both of Broken Arrow. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Leroy Johnston and aunt Rita Johnston.
