Bernadette Mary Robison

July 18, 1939 - June 28, 2018

Funeral services for Bernadette Mary Robison, 78, of Sperry, OK will be held Friday July 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home in Skiatook, Oklahoma, with Mike Schroeder officiating.             Interment in Osage Garden Cemetery will be under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home. Casket bearers for the service will be Jimmy Robison Jr., Tom Robison, Stephen Zak, Tommie Spurlock, Aaron Zak and Bobby Harvey.  Honorary casket bearer will be Thomas James Dunkle. Musical selection for the service will be "Amazing Grace" and "Sweet Forget Me Not".                 Bernadette Mary Robison was born on July 18th 1939 to the proud parents of John and Katie Heslin of Cavan Ireland.  Bernadette was the second youngest of fourteen children and spent her youth on her parents farm in Ireland. Bernadette met Jimmy Robison while he was stationed at Lakenheath Air Force Base in Suffolk England. Jimmy & Bernadette both loved music and dancing together. Jimmy was part of an Air Force band and could play any instrument with strings.  The couple enjoyed dancing together at the places Jimmy's band played and soon fell in love and were married on October 28th 1958 in Diss England. Jimmy and Bernadette had five children and made there home at various military bases around the world and eventually came to reside in Sperry, Ok where they lived for 40 years.  Jimmy left this world to be with the Lord on October 28th 2012 and has now been reunited with his bride again.  Bernadette left this world to be with Jimmy and her Mother and Dad on Wednesday June 28th 2018. Her life, her presence, her love, and her keen Irish attitude will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  A truly unique and wonderful Irish Lass has left this world and gone home to be with the Lord.  We Love you very much Mom !!             Bernadette is survived by two sons: Jimmy Robison Jr. of Owasso; Thomas Robison and wife Fran of Minneapolis, MN; three daughters: Angela Robison of Skiatook; Sandra Jean Zak and husband Stephen of Tomball, TX; Candice LeAnn Spurlock and husband Tommy of Wagoner, OK; a brother Aiden Heslin and wife Shirley of England; two sisters: Elizabeth and Isabelle both of England; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
