Alvin Lee Hearn

September 5, 1934 - December 21, 2017

Funeral services for Alvin Lee Hearn, 83, of Skiatook, Oklahoma were held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Skiatook with President Mike Anderson officiating.             Interment in Osage Garden Cemetery was under the direction of Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home.  Casket bearers for the service were Mike Rives, Cabot Norris, Brad Baker, Robert Baker, Jared Anderson, Hugh Hardie and Dave Hardie.  Musical slections for the service were "Nearer My God To Thee", "Each Life That Touches Ours For Good" and How Great Thou Art".             Alvin passed away on December 21, 2017 at his residence in Skiatook, Oklahoma.  He was born September 5, 1934 in Longview, Texas to Samuel and Bessie (Younger) Hearn.  Alvin was a graduated from high school in Dequeen, Arkansas. He married Karen Ruth Bell on May 20, 1960 in Nevada; she preceded him in death on September 29, 2006.  Alvin worked as a security professional for Allied Universal Security Services.  He had made Skiatook his home for the last sixteen years where he was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is survived by his son-in-law Cabot Norris of Springdale, Arkansas; step son Jeffrey Wayne Morosic of California; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, a brother Harrel Hearn of Moore, OK; two sisters: Mary Taylor of Kansas City, MO: Opal Rives of Skiatook; and a host of family members, friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Karen, a daughter Renee Norris, a son Doug Hearn and a sister Joyce Davis.
