Abigail “Abby” Rose Weiss, 23, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2022, in her mother’s home. She was born on April 30, 1999, in Raleigh, North Carolina to David Edward Weiss and Angela Rachel Hindman. Abby was a source of joy to all who knew and loved her. Her earthly body suffered many challenges and limitations, but her spirit exuded strength, perseverance, and so much sunshine. Her smile was one of pure joy and her laugh was effervescent. Although she could not speak, her spunky personality made her likes and dislikes very clear. She loved going to school, swinging, swimming, and taking car trips. She loved her iPad, especially watching “Mamma Mia” and “High School Musical” on loop. She loved animals, especially her cat Chester who was often right at her side. She loved holidays and dressing up, specifically in her Minnie Mouse costume. Most of all she loved her family, and always kept their photos close to her. We rejoice that Abby is now free of her earthly struggles and is flying free with her angels. We love her eternally and know we will be together again. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Deborah Weiss, and step-grandfather, Bobby Hindman. She is survived by her father, David Weiss; mother, Angela Hindman; stepfather, Bryan Hindman; brother, Mason Weiss; sisters, Emma and Olivia Weiss; stepbrother, Jarrett Hindman; stepsister, Bradleigh Hindman; grandparents, Hugh Robert Weiss, Carol Bresciano, Gregg and Rachel Carrier, and Nancy Hindman. in lieu of flowers, the family has set up a Go Fund Me to have a memorial constructed in Abby's honor at her school. https://www.gofundme.com/f/memorial-to-honor-abby
