Tyson Noah Townley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tyson Noah Townley, aged 15, who departed from this life on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 6:00 PM Tyson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on August 7, 2008, to his loving parents Steven Townley and Stacey Harris. He was the cherished brother of Brohk, Harper, and Karsyn of Barnsdall, Osage County, Oklahoma. Tyson was a sophomore at Barnsdall High School, where he touched the lives of many with his vibrant spirit. Tyson's passion for baseball was unmatched, and he excelled in the sport. He proudly wore the number #28 and played for both the Renegades and Barnsdall teams as a pitcher, catcher, shortstop and second base. His versatility on the field earned him the title of a true utility player. He will always and forever be #28. Off the field, Tyson brought joy and laughter wherever he went. His infectious humor and playful nature endeared him to all who knew him. In addition to his athletic prowess, Tyson possessed a vibrant personality that could illuminate even the darkest room. He had a knack for spreading joy and laughter wherever he went, often engaging in playful banter with his siblings and friends. Tyson's kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Tyson's zest for life extended beyond the baseball diamond; he cherished moments spent with his family, friends, and beloved girlfriend. Whether watching movies, playing video games, or engaging in spirited sports practice sessions, Tyson approached every activity with unbridled enthusiasm and passion. Tyson's legacy will forever endure in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the cherished memories and moments he shared with his loved ones. Tyson is preceded in death by his Grandfather Lindal Townley and Grandmother Lynn Townley, both of Barnsdall. Tyson is survived by his mother Stacey Harris and father Steven Townley of Barnsdall. His brother and sisters Brohk, Harper and Karsyn of Barnsdall. His Grandparents Mike and Carrie Harris of Barnsdall. His Aunt, Uncle and cousins Christie, Brian, Shelby, Christian and Kaleb of North Dakota. His aunt and uncle Tina and Eric Townley of Bartlesville and his Aunt, Uncle and cousins Amanda, Ronald, Mariah, Chance, Samuel and Jacob of Dewey. In honoring Tyson's memory, let us strive to live our lives with the same passion, joy, and kindness that he exemplified every day. Though he may be gone from our sight, he will never be forgotten, and his legacy will continue to inspire us all.
