Susan Louise Anders Susan Louise Anders, 61, of Nowata, died at 2:17 P.M. on Monday, April 6, 2015 in Arkansas City, Kansas. Memorial services will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at His Life Church, 506 S. Ash in Nowata with Pastor David Stevens officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home. Mrs. Anders was born at Hoxie, Kansas on May 16, 1953 the daughter of Phillip Arthur and Luetta Mae (Huelsman) Robben. She grew up near the Hoxie area and graduated from high school at Hoxie. She entered the U.S. Army in 1971 and served until receiving her Honorable Discharge. She attended college in Arizona and later at Coffeyville Junior College and received an Associate’s degree. She was married to Clayton Edward Anders and he preceded her in death. They operated a Coney Island Restaurant in Oologah and later moved to Nowata. She was employed as a rural mail carrier at Lenapah and later at Oologah. She was then affiliated with the Nowata County Sheriff’s Office as a jailer and a reserve deputy. She was later employed by Amazon in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was a member of the Oklahoma Sheriff’s Association and the Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include four daughters, Katrina “Katy” Anders of Nowata, Cassandra Muldrow and husband Anthony of Arkansas City, Kansas, Kimberly Meachum and husband Chris of Buckeye, Arizona, and Donna Palmateer of Arizona City, Arizona, four sons, Shane Steve Anders and wife Amy of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Byron Edward Anders of Houston, Texas, Dean Anders of Arizona City, Arizona and Kenny Blackmore of Ohio, her mother, Luetta Mae Robben of Dodge City, Kansas, five sisters, LeaAnn Robben of Dodge City, Kansas, Kathy Shields and husband Mike of Manhatten, Kansas, Colleen Herrmann and husband Danny of Dodge City, Kansas, Janae Jones of Dodge City, Kansas and Ranae Stites and husband Troy of McPherson, Kansas, four brothers, her twin, Steve Robben and wife Nancy of Greeley, Colorado, Mark Robben and wife Connie of Elizabeth Colorado, Hugh Robben and wife Tami of Dodge City, Kansas and Chad Robben and wife Dollie of Wichita, Kansas, 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her father, a son, Billy Howard Anders in 2001 and a daughter, Chasity Marie Anders in 2013.
