Nancy Lou Symonds-Kelly

Nancy Lou Symonds-Kelly went home to be with our Lord on August 25, 2022, at the age of 80 at home in Pawhuska, Ok with her family by her side. She was born to Roy Kern Symonds and Dorothy Ellen King on March 23, 1942, in Bartlesville, OK she was their youngest of 7 children. Nancy married Francis M. Kelly on April 10, 1958, and they had 2 daughters. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend who will be missed dearly by so many. To all her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she was known as “Nanny” and she absolutely adored all her babies. Nancy was adored by everyone and if you knew her, then you knew how loving and caring she truly was. She showed everyone she encountered the warmest and most unconditional love. She was such a light in everyone’s lives and will be dearly missed by all. She loved taking road trips and going on adventures with her daughter Tjuana. Everyone called them Thelma and Louise. She also enjoyed watching television in the evenings with her Husband Francis, they loved to watch game shows together. Her favorite food was Mexican food, and she really enjoyed donut holes from Sal’s. Some of her most fond memories were the birth of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Mother Dorothy Ellen King-Millhouse, Stepfather George Millhouse, Father Roy Kern Symonds, Sister, Wanda Wendt, Brother, Robert Joe Symonds, Sister Betty McMillen, Infant Brother, Lee R. Symonds, and her Toddler Brother Hurbert L. Symonds. Nancy leaves her legacy through her Husband of 64 years, Francis M. Kelly of Pawhuska, Ok, Daughters Tjuana Boulanger of Pawhuska, Ok and Lynn Sargent of Ponca City, Ok. Her Grandchildren Kelly Gene and Desiree Bickford of Newkirk, Ok, Randi and Isaiah Nutter, of Ponca City, Ok and Kieshia and David Pendergraft, of Bartlesville, Ok and her many great grandchildren whom she was very proud of. Visitation will be held on Monday August 29, 2022, from 11am to 8pm at Sumpff Funeral Home, and a Memorial Service will be held Tuesday August 30, 2022, at 1pm also at the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. She will be laid to rest at the Ramona Cemetery.
