Martin Micheal Moore

Martin “Marty” Micheal Moore, 66, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma passed away on March 19, 2026 at Ascension St. John Jane Phillips in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Marty was born on May 15, 1959 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Robert and Lenita (Hladik) Moore. He grew up in Mount Hope, Kansas and then moved to Andale, Kansas in 9th grade where he played football, set many long distance sprinting records running track, played percussion in the marching band, and also acted in numerous school plays. After graduating from Andale in 1977, he played football and ran track at West Point (New York) for one semester before transferring to Emporia State University and completing his Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Computer Programming. He then began working for Phillips Petroleum Company as a computer programmer in 1981. Marty completed his Master’s of Business Administration while working in various roles including Human Resources, Payroll, and IT until retiring in March of 2019 after 38 years of service. While working at Phillips, he met his wife of 39 years, Jane Godwin. They married in 1986 and raised two daughters, Jillian and Kelsey. Before having kids, Marty enjoyed participating in tennis, volleyball and softball leagues, and swing dancing with Jane. His love of sports continued in the form of coaching his daughters’ tee ball and soccer teams. Marty was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, coach and friend. Since retiring, he enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and golfing and he absolutely treasured the time he got to spend with his three granddaughters. He passed away doing something he loved - golfing 18 holes with his friends on a beautiful day. Loving survivors include his wife, Jane Ellen (Godwin) Moore of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; daughter Jillian Michelle Moore of Bellingham, Washington; daughter Kelsey Nicole Drouhard and her husband James Richard “J.R.” of Harper, Kansas; granddaughters Kendri Kate Drouhard, Vivie Jane Drouhard, and Gia Blaire Drouhard of Harper, Kansas; brother Mark Mitchell Moore and wife Cheryl of Andale, Kansas; and nephews Mitchell Moore of Lawrence, KS and Matthew Moore of Lawrence, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lenita. Services will be held on March 27th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Washington County Soccer Club or the American Heart Association.
