LONNIE JOE RAYL Lonnie Joe Rayl died Friday June 24th at 12:16 PM at the age of 65 years old, in Bartlesville, OK. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday July 2, 2011 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with military rites conducted at the funeral home by the James H. Teel American Legion Post # 105. A memorial has been established and those who wish to make a contribution in memory of Lonnie may do so to: the American Red Cross 601 S.W. Jennings Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74003. Lonnie Joe Rayl was born and raised in Bartlesville by his parents Ila and Harry Chester Rayl. Graduated from College High School May 26, 1964 and was drafted into the United States Army in 1966, where he served for 2 years in Pleiku, Vietnam. He married, had twin girls Linnea and Renee', then 10 years later he had a son Brent. He worked at TRW REDA PUMP (Camco/Schlumberger) for 39 1/2 years. Married Rhonda Jean Swank on June 22, 1986 had 2 children, Tabitha and Timothy, and was faithfully married for 25 years. He was a former member of First Assembly of God Church in Bartlesville as a child; First Baptist Church in Dewey, OK, later Tuxedo Assembly of God in Bartlesville, Encouraging Word/Friday Nite Church, Redeemer Lutheran Church and Warriors for Christ. He also frequently attended Night Watch of Bartlesville until he became ill, and loved God with all of his heart, mind and soul. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Rhoda and Harry Rayl, and maternal grandparents Fannie and George Booth. His Mother Ila died in 1999 and His Father died in 2008. He is survived by his wife Rhonda Rayl, children Tabitha and Timothy of the home, Aunt Mary Buffalohead of Ponca City, Ok; Aunt Juanita and Uncle Raymond White of Bartlesville; two sisters Linda Meek and her husband Sam and LaNette Quillin and her husband Jim; his daughters Linnea Adams of Tulsa, and Renee' Meyer of Eureka, MO son Brent Rayl of Bartlesville, as well as 6 grandchildren. Sister-n-laws Nancy Stricklin and her husband Joe of Prague, OK and Brenda Wade and husband Jeff of Barnsdall, OK and her husband Jeff, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
