Joli Sue Ellen Hutto

Joli Sue Ellen Hutto, 21, of Mound Valley, Kansas, tragically passed away Sunday, January 21, 2019 in Parsons, Kansas. Joli was born January 20, 1998 in Selma, Alabama to parents John “Bama” Patrick Hutto and Kimberly Dawn (Tubbs) Griggs. She was a graduate of the Labette County High School and did attend Labette County Community College and Missouri Southern University. At the time of her passing, she was working as a phlebotomist with the American Red Cross. Joli was a LCHS cheerleader during her senior year, was a member of the International Thespian Society, Future Business Leader of America, ran track and cross country and was a welding class graduate. She loved theatre and performing with friends in the theatre club. She also loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a people person and always had a big smile for everyone. She loved life and lived it to the fullest! She was a very proud Alabama born country southern girl! She loved her Southern heritage and was truly a “Bama Girl”! Joli is survived by her parents, John Patrick Hutto and step mother Sandra Lee Harkins of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma; mother Kimberly Dawn (Tubbs) Griggs and step father Jeffery Griggs of Mound Valley, Kansas; sisters Jessica Page Yocham, Karli Danielle Nichole Griggs and Kaitlin Elizabeth Glimpse; brothers Roman Wade Yocham, Dominique James Glimpse and Jordan David Glimpse; nephew Jackson Wade Yocham; grandmothers Lillie Belle Hutto and Linda Gail Abbott; Ollie, her cat whom she dearly loved and many, many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by an infant brother John Patrick Hutto, Jr.; grandfathers James Cecil Hutto Sr. and Albert Gerald Tubbs and step grandfather Earl Thomas Abbott Sr. A come and go visitation will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Stumpff- Nowata Funeral Home in Nowata, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00am at the Mound Valley Christian Church with interment to follow at the Mound Valley Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Dominique Glimpse, Jordan Glimpse, Thomas Hollingshead, Samuel Abbott, Michael Oriano and Daniel Oriano and honorary pallbearers are Kate, Gabbi, Adriana, Vanessa and Lucas.
