Mr. Jerry Monroe. Thomas Mr. Jerry Monroe. Thomas, 75, of Bartlesville, died at 2:20 P.M. on Friday, January 2, 2015 at his home in Bartlesville. Services for Mr. Thomas will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Eastern Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Hoelscher and Dr. Michael Vallandingham officiating. Memorial services and cremation are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. The Thomas family would like to have the opportunity to visit with their friends on Tuesday morning at the church prior to the service from 10 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Hines, Steve Warehime, Lonnie Hoelscher, Cole Park, Keith McNickle, David Ray, Stan Franklin and Moses McDonald. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Men’s Ministry of Eastern Heights Baptist Church, 1331 S.E. Swan Drive, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006. Mr. Thomas was born in Kansas City, Kansas on October 5, 1939 the son of Frank M. (Zeke) Thomas and Helen I. (Wages) Thomas. He grew up and received his education in Kansas City and graduated from Washington High School in Kansas City in 1957 and then attended junior college in Kansas City in 1957 and 1958. He was married to Bonnie Lou Johnson on September 5, 1959 in Kansas City, Kansas. They made their home in Kansas City and he was employed with Phillips Pipeline in Kansas City until 1981 when they transferred to Bartlesville. Mr. Thomas continued with Phillips Pipeline until his retirement as Pipeline Controller in 1997. Mr. Thomas was also a musician who played and taught guitar and was a sportsman who loved to hunt, fish and carve duck decoys. He was a member of the Eastern Heights Baptist Church. Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Bonnie L. Thomas of the home, two sons, Warren M. Thomas and wife Lorraine and Daryl R. Thomas and wife Stephanie, all of Bartlesville, one brother, Larry H. Thomas and wife Jeannie of Humble, Texas, seven grandchildren, Cassie Conner and husband D’Wayne, Raymond Monroe Thomas, Brodie A. Thomas, Kyle R. Thomas, Derrick J. Thomas, Manny D. Thomas, and Rachel Holdridge and husband Harris, two step grandchildren, Lindsey Dennison and Chase Miller, and two great grandchildren, Allie J. and Lydia G. Conner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank M. (Zeke) Thomas and Helen I. (Wages) Thomas and by one son, Wayne A. Thomas. PDF Printable Version
