Evelyn Fae Blackwell

Evelyn “Evie” Fae Blackwell, 63, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026, at 8:36 p.m. Evie was born April 3, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri, where she lived while growing up. Evie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose presence brought warmth and joy to the lives of those around her. She married the love of her life, Tim Blackwell, on June 30, 2005, in Harrison, Arkansas. Together, they shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, travel, and countless cherished memories. Evie was a member of Barnsdall Assembly of God. She earned an Associate Degree in Social Science and spent much of her career serving and working with people. Her professional life included working as a Driving Examiner for the State of Oklahoma, a driver’s license tech at Bartlesville Tag Agency, a sales associate at Sears, assistant manager at Bath & Body Works, and manager of the Bonworth clothing boutique. Those who knew Evie knew that she found joy in the simple things. She loved getting lost in a good book, watching movies, fishing, traveling, and especially spending time with her Tim. Some of their favorite adventures included trips to Silver Dollar City, Memphis, and the beach. She was also a wonderful cook and took great pleasure in making homemade jams. At family gatherings, everyone knew to look for her famous deviled eggs and pineapple pie—two specialties that will forever bring memories of Evie to the family table. Above all, Evie treasured her family. She leaves behind her husband, Tim Blackwell; her children, Amanda Young, Jessica Stogsdill, Jeramy Blackwell, and Lora Stoy; and her beloved grandchildren, Emma, Kyle, Hayden, Morgan, Caden, Brianna, Skyla, Alaina, and Benjamin. She is also survived by her dearly beloved mom, Nadine Blackwell, siblings, nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary K. Young; her aunt Bonita; and her father-in-law, Alvin Blackwell. Evie will be remembered for her love of family, her generous heart, her sense of humor, her love of life, and the many little things she did that made people feel loved. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her husband, children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely will continue through all who were blessed to know her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, in Evie’s memory.
