Connie Sue Hagan

Connie Sue Hagan, 74, of Glenpool, Oklahoma, passed away on March 18, 2026. Connie was born on August 10, 1951, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to George Wuerdeman and Jean Burruss. She grew into a compassionate and dedicated woman whose life’s work reflected her deep commitment to caring for others. She graduated from Independence High School in 1969. On April 10, 1971, Connie married Charles David Adams, and together they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Wendi, who remained one of the greatest blessings of her life. Later, on August 24, 1995, she married Glenn Michael Hagan, with whom she shared 18 loving years of marriage until his passing. Connie earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Tulsa Junior College and went on to build a remarkable career as a Registered Nurse. Over the course of 37 years at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, she served in multiple specialties, including step-down cardiac care, surgery orthopedics, radiation oncology, and quality improvement. Nursing was more than a profession to Connie—it was a calling, and she took great pride in the care and comfort she provided to her patients. Outside of her work, Connie found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved sewing, shopping, cooking, and antiquing. She had a keen eye for unique treasures and a creative spirit that showed in everything she did. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, George Wuerdeman and Jean Burruss, and her husband, Glenn Michael Hagan. She is survived by her loving daughter, Wendi Washburn (Michael); her granddaughters, Macie Baker and Riley Stockton (John); her bonus daughter, Andrea Morris (Greg); her bonus granddaughters, Sarah Morris and Rebecca Taldo (Alex); her great-granddaughter, Alice Mackenzie; and her bonus grandson, James Taldo. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory. Connie will be remembered for her caring heart, her dedication to her profession, and the love she shared with her family. Her legacy of compassion and service will continue to live on through all those she touched. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Jenks, Oklahoma in Connie’s memory.
